ABOUT US

Hello & Welcome

Tempe Leadership is a community-driven program that brings like-minded people together to develop informed, connected and empowered leaders who actively help shape Tempe’s future. Through hands-on learning, civic exploration and meaningful relationship-building, participants gain a deeper understanding of the city’s challenges and opportunities.

Class XLI represents the forty-first iteration of this program. Made up of 19 dedicated community leaders, local business owners and corporate professionals, this cohort brings a diverse range of perspectives and expertise. Together, they are committed to strengthening connections, elevating civic engagement and advancing projects that positively impact Tempe’s future.

CLASS PROJECT

Storm to Shade

After a devastating storm impacted our community, we launched Storm to Shade to rebuild Tempe’s urban forest. By planting a total of 35 new trees at Mitchell and Jaycee Parks, we’re restoring shade, strengthening neighborhoods and cooling our community for the long term.
